President's Invitational Message

Dear invited speakers, famous scholars, PKETA members and ladies and gentlemen

I am very happy to announce the 2007 Pan-Korea International Conference under the subject 'Developing Teacher Expertise in EFL Contexts'. The Conference will be held at the Korea Maritime University in Busan, Korea on the 13th of October, 2007.

We are going to invite about 40 speakers and we expect more than 400 attendees inthe conference from inside and outside the country. The great constituents of PKETA are composed of many ardent teachers and scholars across the country. So many teachers and scholars can contribute to develop practical teaching methods and teaching techniques. We are sure that this conference will inspire and enlighten all those interested in the theory and practice of English education, in order to promote ourselves in the balanced development of professional teaching skills in Korea-specific English education context.

The deadline of application is March 25. Please send application forms to Prof. Sang-Ho Han (Kyongju Univ. singhap@kyongju.ac.kr). Biographical data and presentation proposal forms should be sent to Prof. Sung-Soo Jang (Inje Univ.) elansing@hanmail.net by the end of August.

I sincerely hope many of you will make presentations in the 2007 PKETA International Conference in Busan, Korea.
