2017년 KATE 국제 학술대회가 6월 30일과 7월 1일에 한국외국어대학교에서 개최됩니다.


이번 학술대회에서는 Patricia Duff (Univ. of British Columbia, Canada), William Eggington (Brigham Young Univ., USA), David Graddol (British Council, UK), Elana Shohamy (Tel Aviv University, Israel) 등 저명한 학자들을 모시고 "The Social Dimension of English Language Education" 라는 주제로 열띤 학술 토론의 장을 마련하고자 합니다.

The Korea Association of Teachers of English (KATE) is now accepting presentation abstracts for the 2017 International Conference.


l  Conference Theme and Topics of Interest


The theme of this year's conference is The Social Dimension of English Language Education. Proposals which focus on the conference theme will receive first consideration; however, all proposals in the specific areas of English Language Teaching will be gratefully received.


l  How to Submit Your Proposal


Submit your proposal from the KATE home page (http://www.kate.or.kr) by Feb 26, 2017. Proposals must include both a 250-word abstract and a 50-word biodata. For more information regarding submission of proposals, please email the conference submission chair Prof. Shin, Dongkwang (Gwangju National University of Education) at kate2017conference@gmail.com.


l  Types of Presentations


Research paper - 25 minutes

Teaching demonstration - 25 minutes

Poster presentation - 60 minutes


Proposal will be reviewed by the selection committee and authors will be notified by March 10 2017.
